Ilha de Fernando de Noronha Recreational fishing is also quite chased in Fernando De Noronha, fishing is only allowed outside PARNAMAR boundaries - Marine National Park, i.e., with depths below 50 m/164 ft (isobaths of 50 m). There are companies renting boats and fishing gear for offshore fishing in the island. Every August, the Fernando De Noronha Offshore Fishing Tournament lures fishers from countrywide. Fishes like pompano dolphin fish, bull mackerel, anchovy, albacore, marlin, among others, can be found.
