Every Monday night after 11:00 pm, the performance of Maracatu Nacao Noronha takes place at Bar do Cachorro. This maracatu (Pernambuco's folk dance) was launched in 2004 and is conducted by Dona Nanete, having Marcio Carvalho as master of ceremonies and its music reference comes from Maracatu Camaleao, from Olinda.
Maracatu Nacao Noronha is the sole in an Ocean Island and its purpose stands for boosting and valuating the Pernambuco culture. It runs a permanent workshop to attend children, youngsters and adults domiciled in the Island.
